Dear Parents and Guardians,
This half term we are reading The Marvellous Adventures of Maggie and Methuselah: A Mystery in Hong Kong by Sarah Brennan.
We have the exciting opportunity on Friday 6th December to host a virtual author visit with Sarah during the school day. The children will have read most of the story by then and will have a chance to ask Sarah questions. The excitement continues during our Year 4 camp in February when we will visit tunnels mentioned throughout the story.
With Christmas and Lunar New Year fast approaching, Sarah would like to offer an opportunity to buy her books at a discounted price. On Monday 4th November we will send all children home with an order form to complete and return to school by Friday 22nd November.
Please note:
– This is optional to buy.
– Payment is by cheque with instructions on the order form on how to complete it.
– Payments cannot be made to school. We are collecting on behalf of Sarah and sending these on.
