Charity Football Match | DBIS Staff vs DC Staff

Dear Parents,

We’re very excited to announce that on World Down Syndrome Day, Thursday the 21st of March, we will be hosting a charity football match between DBIS and DC staff (“The DB Derby”) from 15:45, with all funds raised going to the Hong Kong Down Syndrome Association.

It promises to be a fun afternoon of football and refreshments organised by the PTSA, with all profits going to the cause. The Inclusion Department will also be running the annual odd and wacky socks sale during the day and our team will of course be playing in colourful, odd football socks to show their support for people with Down Syndrome.

Arsenal FC have very generously donated a signed photograph of the current first team, complete with a certificate of authenticity, to raise funds. The photograph will be sold through a silent auction, with the winner announced after the match. If you’d like to get your hands on this rare piece of football memorabilia, enter and track your bids online here:

In the interest of raising as much money as possible from the sale, please share the link with anyone you know who might be interested – the auction is of course open to all.

Kind regards,
The Inclusion Team
