Dear Parents,
As part of our upcoming Outdoor Learning Week (from November 1-5th), DBIS is proud to host a Community Coastal Clean-Up on Friday, November 5th, from 3.30 pm – 5.30 pm. We are inviting as many of our DBIS families to join us in what we hope to be the first of many community-safe activities.
A beach clean is a great learning opportunity, not just for the students, but also for us as adults as we are reminded of the environmental impact of our actions and the responsibilities we have as consumers. This is even more impactful as the clean-up is hosted on one of our most beloved beaches in DB: Sam Pak Wan (the North Plaza beach).
