EY2 Spelling Books

Dear EY2  Families,

To further support your child’s development in writing, we will be sharing spellings with your child to practice at home. At the front of your child’s spelling book, you will find a range of spelling strategies that you may wish to try with your child. Your child will not have a formal spelling test; rather, these are an opportunity for your child to further practice learnt words at home to support their development as a writer and reader.

Children can try one set of words a week or dip in and out of the book when they have time. There are some fun activities to help practise the spelling words this half term. There are also activities for each spelling rule to help you practise. 

Please return this spelling book to school the week commencing Monday 5th December.
