Head of Secondary Announcement

 

I'm pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Simon Oakley as Head of Secondary in succession to Mr Mike Waller whose tenure will finish at the end of Term Three. Simon is highly regarded and successful in his current role of Deputy Director (Academic) at Dulwich College, Zhuhai. 

 

As someone who has significant experience in developing teaching and learning, driving academic achievement and supporting students with their education, Simon's track record is particularly relevant to the Secondary School's current stage of development and future ambitions. 

 

Just as importantly, Simon shares the DBIS core values as an inclusive community school that is ambitious for all its students' futures. I am confident that Simon will work incredibly well with the new Head of School, Mr Stuart Bridge, and ensure the Secondary School's continued growth and success.
