Important Reminder Regarding Back-to-School COVID-19 Arrangements

Dear Parents,

We would like to remind parents of the protocols that need to be followed in order to welcome the students back onto the school campus.

For full details please refer to the COVID-19 Arrangements page on the Hub – LINK.

However, these are the key things you need to note:

Student Vaccination Requirements
  • Students do not need to be vaccinated to attend face-to-face lessons.
  • Students who are double vaccinated can now participate in mask-off extracurricular activities – for further details please refer HERE.
Daily COVID-19 Testing
  • All students must conduct a COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) each morning before arriving at school.
  • Students who have contracted COVID-19 will not be required to test for three months after recovery.
  • Parents will be responsible for purchasing RAT kits for their children – the school will not be able to provide RAT kits for students.
  • Anyone who tests positive must not come to school and should follow government guidelines.
Reporting Results
  • Parents do not need to notify the school of students’ negative COVID-19 test results.
  • Parents must notify the school of students’ positive COVID-19 test results by 9am on the day of testing using the Jotform HERE.
  • Parents should also notify the Centre for Health Protection (CHP) of students’ positive results via the CHP’s RAT declaration system.
  • The school is required to notify the CHP each day of any new positive results.
Temperature Checks
  • Temperature cards will continue to be provided for each student. Parents must record their child’s temperature on the card each day and sign to confirm that the information is accurate. On the first day back, parents may record this information on a temporary paper version of the form LINK. Students must also continue to take their temperatures on arrival.

Parent, Guardian and Visitor Checks

  • Parents/Guardians/Visitors with a “Red Code” (that is, confirmed cases) are not allowed to enter the school premises.
  • Parents/Guardians/Visitors with an “Amber Code” are not allowed to enter school premises.  This includes student drop-off and school events.

Details of the latest drop and pick-up procedures can be found HERE.

Kind regards
