Dear Parents,
In 2018, the Centre for Health Protection launched the Vaccination Subsidy Scheme (VSS) for children aged six months to 12 years and attending primary school in Hong Kong. The VSS will be launched for the 2021–22 influenza season in mid-October 2021. Please kindly note that the influenza vaccine will not be administered at school.
The vaccination covers:
an A/Victoria/2570/2019 (H1N1)pdm09-like virus;
an A/Cambodia/e0826360/2020 (H3N2)-like virus;
a B/Washington/02/2019 (B/Victoria lineage)-like virus
a B/Phuket/3073/2013 (B/Yamagata lineage)-like virus
