Initial Options Choices

Dear Parents, Guardians and Students,

I am delighted to share with you the initial options booklet for IGCSE and BTEC Level 2 subjects for 2023–25.

As mentioned in the booklet, initial options choices can be made from Friday 7th October 2022. Once you have familiarised yourself with the information provided, please complete the Jotform found at the end of this letter no later than Friday 14th October. 

Students should consider their initial choices very carefully as the option blocks will be built based on these choices and any considerable changes may not be possible once the blocks have been created.

In addition to the booklet, key information has been shared with students at an Options Launch Assembly and through discussions in Learning for Life classes. Students are also strongly encouraged to discuss their choices with their tutor, subject teachers and Head of Year.

We have also produced videos offering more information and a greater insight into each subject.
