Making the most of Year 8 (11/10/2022)

Dear Year 8 Parents and Guardians,

It has been an excellent start to the year for the Year 8 cohort. I have been so impressed with the high levels of motivation on display when I have entered subject classrooms and the standard of work being produced by students in all subjects.

I would like to invite you to the Year 8 information evening (‘Making the most of Year 8’), which will take place online from 6.30pm–7.30 pm on Tuesday 11th October.

This session will be delivered by myself and Mr Jason Broderick (Assistant Head – Pastoral). The main points of this session will be:

–        Year 8 expectations

–        The Year 8 tutor team

–        SMART targets

–        Report guidance

–        Green Bird award

–        Marathon challenge

–        Any key reminders

This session will be held via a Google Meet link, which will be shared closer to the date. If you have any questions in advance of the evening, please do contact me. We look forward to seeing you on Tuesday 11th October.
