PTSA November Newsletter

Hello to all our parents, teachers and students on this beautiful November day, and a slightly belated “Happy Thanksgiving” to those that celebrate it. Here at the PTSA office we have so much to be thankful for and intend to spend the school year sharing our many blessings with those around us.

We’ve already made a good start – our AGM in September was well-attended and our committee is once again full of enthusiastic and creative volunteers. Quiz night was another huge success thanks to the efforts of our quizmasters Tim Clarke and Sara Shaw, and a fantastic opportunity for our new Head of School, Mr Bridge, to meet the wonderful (and smart) community that he is now part of.

Planning has already started for the International Food Fair, which will take place on March 7th. If you are a Class Parent and would like an opportunity to share your thoughts and ideas on this event and others, please do sign up for the Class Parents Coffee Morning via the link at the bottom of this newsletter. The PTSA will treat you to coffee at Zaks and you don’t even have to sign up for anything (yet).

Of course, we cannot end this school term without our much-loved Carols on the Pitch celebration, which promises, as always, to be magnificent. The PTSA will be hosting a small Christmas Bazaar, handing out hot chocolate and mince pies to the littles, and selling mulled wine to the not-so-littles! None of this happens without volunteers so please do your part to make this beautiful event a success and sign up for a time slot in the second link.

We are very much looking forward to sharing the Spirit of the Season with our beloved school community and will see you all very soon.

Warmest regards,

Liz Hemmings
