Reception – The Week Ahead

Dear Reception Families,

The children have had another wonderful week! Seeing them settle further into Reception routines and develop a sense of belonging to their new classes has been lovely.

Thank you to those families who joined us for our Reception Information Afternoon; we hope you found it informative. If you missed the presentation, please find a link to a recording of it here.

A huge thank you to those parents who have volunteered to be class parents. It really is such a valuable role for both families and teachers. Safari class is still in need of a class parent, so if you would like to volunteer please get in touch with Emma Chambers.

Please be reminded that we are a nut-aware school. We have students with severe nut allergies, so please ensure that no nuts or tree nuts are brought to school (including store-bought pesto). To avoid confusion, do let us know if your child has a nut-free spread or nut-free pesto in their lunches. When preparing your child’s lunch, please cut all grapes lengthways as they are a major choking hazard.

May we gently remind you that Monday is a public holiday and children will return to school on Tuesday. Please remember that Tuesday is PE day, so children should come dressed in their PE uniform for some active fun with Ms Kerry.

Wishing you all an enjoyable Moon Festival long weekend.

Kind regards,

The Reception Team
