Dear Reception Families,
It has been another fantastic week of learning in Reception. Please remember to check Seesaw to see what has been happening in our classes this week.
Next week, your child will receive a home reading book and diary. Each class will send out their books on a different day. Your class teacher will let you know when your reading folder needs to be returned each week. Please click on this post to find out more about home reading. If you haven’t already done so, we kindly ask that you send in a named A4 zip folder for your child to take their books home.
May we also remind you that the school day starts at 8:55am. Next week, as the children enter the classroom, they will begin some morning challenges. Class teachers and EAs will be supporting the children in these, so we kindly ask that you arrive promptly at school so we can make the most of this valuable learning time.
Please also ensure that all clothing and shoes are labelled. The children often take off their socks and shoes to play with water and sensory materials. Labels will help them easily find their belongings and avoid any mix-ups.
