Dear Year 3 Parents and Guardians,
In Term 2, our Year 3 children will have the opportunity to further develop their musicianship and learn the recorder through a ‘Recorder Karate’ unit during their music lessons.
For hygiene reasons, please note that each child will be required to have their own recorder that they can bring to their weekly music lesson with Miss Lau or Mr Thaxter; recorders can be purchased at the DBIS uniform shop for HK$40. To further support the children with their learning, we ask that students’ recorder bags and instruments have their name and class on them.
The Music Department would be grateful if the children could begin bringing their recorders to Music lessons from the first week in Term 2.
