Dear Secondary Parents,
It has been wonderful to see our secondary students since they returned to school last month. The year has started really positively and your children have settled in really well into the new academic year and its many opportunities including the restart of our Extra-Curricular Activities (ECAs) programme.
Your feedback has been really valuable in the past in enabling us to improve, and one key element of this was from the feedback of our two Secondary Parent Consultation Groups last year. We had two groups because of the different needs of children in different stages of the secondary – one group for our Year 7-9 students and another one for our Year 10-13 students.
It is important that your views support the continued development of the secondary phase and I would again like to ask for any additional volunteers to join our two Secondary Parent Consultation Groups this academic year. The parent groups meet on a termly basis, with meetings taking place on the mornings of school days. When we are able to invite parents into the school, we meet in person, but until then, meetings will take place online like they did last year.
