Dear Reception families,
We’d like to invite the Reception children on a trip to see ‘Tabby McTat live on stage’. The performance will take place on Thursday 9th of February at 12pm at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts in Wan Chai. Students are to arrive at school at the normal time of 8.55am, and buses will depart at 10.15am from the Early Years campus.
The cost of the trip will be $360 per child, including the show and the bus. Payments must be made by Thursday 2nd February for your child to attend. Please submit payments of cash or cheque (payable to Discovery Bay International School) to the Early Years office. If you wish to pay via bank transfer, please use the following details:

On the day, children will need to wear full school uniform and bring a packed lunch and water bottle. We will have a substantial snack at school before we leave and then the children will have their lunch when we return. Teachers will take additional snacks for any children who are hungry throughout the visit (although eating is not allowed in the theatre itself).
We will require some parent helpers to attend so please contact your class teacher if you are available on 9th February. A parent sign-up sheet will be made available by your class teacher closer to the time. If an ample amount of parents volunteer then names will be chosen from a hat.
