Dear Year 5 Families,
The Year 5 Show: Children for Change!
We are very excited to let you know that the Year 5 Show will take place on Wednesday 14th June and Thursday 15th June from 6pm to approximately 7pm in the Globe Theatre.
On both Wednesday 14th and Thursday 15th June, students will need to leave school at the end of the school day and then return promptly at 5:30pm. Teachers will meet them in their classrooms at this time. We ask that the students eat early, before they arrive back at school.
We also ask that parents do not accompany the students to the classrooms. The PTSA have kindly organised a bar and refreshments before the show, so please do enjoy these refreshments outside the Globe Theatre.
The students will be given a form to take home and complete in order to purchase tickets. Due to space limitations and to ensure all families get tickets, each family is allocated a maximum of four tickets. We will allocate these on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. Tickets will cost HK$10, and all proceeds from the show will go to charity. Once we receive your form, we will give your child tickets to take home for the show. Please arrive with these on the day.
If your child is not going to be here on these dates, please let us know as soon as possible as it will affect the logistics for the show.
Beach Clean-Up
As a result of our learning and the ‘Children for Change’ show, the students have organised a morning beach clean-up on Wednesday 21st June at the North Plaza beach. More details to come soon!
Onwards and Upwards Celebration
On Monday 19th June at 8.30 am, we will be celebrating the students finishing Year 5. Please come and celebrate your children’s achievements with us in their classroom at this time.
