Van Gogh Alive – English trip

Dear Parents/Guardians,

The English department are pleased to announce an exciting and rare opportunity for all year 8 and year 9 students to visit the popular multisensory exhibition Van Gogh Alive on Monday, June 10th 2019. The exhibition will showcase in HK until the start of July so we must seize this opportunity for the limited time that it is here for. This is an experience not to be missed and the English department have been busy designing tasks that are innovative, engaging and purposeful for this excursion. We are committed to making learning a meaningful and joyous experience and we appreciate the support of your child in this endeavour.

Van Gogh Alive have kindly provided us with discounted price tickets at $170 per student. We would very much appreciate if you could help us make this excursion a smooth process by issuing cheques made payable to ‘Discovery Bay International School’ with your child’s full name on the back of the cheque and hand it into Joey Ng in the school office in an envelope marked ‘Van Gogh Alive payment’.

The deadline for all payments is Wednesday, 29th May. Students will return to school after the trip and resume normal school hours, more details about the day can be found on the CHQ system, please see the links below.

If you have any further queries please do not hesitate to contact me.
