Dear Parents and Guardians,
As previously communicated, the DBIS International Food Fair is returning next year on Saturday 2nd March!
This is a community event and can only happen with the full support of our whole school community. The stalls completely rely on volunteers signing up to help on the day – without parent/community volunteers, the event can’t run.
Unfortunately, we have had a very low response rate to our previous request for families to sign up to help – less than 5% of our community have volunteered.
In order for your country to be represented, it is essential that volunteers sign up to support the stall. Whether you can spare an hour or two or more, any help you can give will be greatly appreciated.
Once we have a good level of support for a particular country, the PTSA will guide the team running the stall. At no point will any volunteer be on their own. This is a team effort from us all.
We are really hoping you can take the time to complete the attached jotform HERE and support the return of our much-loved Food Fair with representation of as many countries as possible.
The PTSA are here and ready to support in helping this event return as the main community event in our school calendar.
