Dear Parents and Guardians,
To conclude our current unit ‘Let’s Build Structures’, Year 1 will be venturing on an exciting bus journey around Hong Kong Island and Kowloon on Monday 5th February 2024. This will support us during this half term, as we explore famous structures and buildings in Hong Kong and the rest of the world. We will become scientists by recognising the different materials used and their properties.
On the day of the trip, we will leave school at 11.15am and return at approximately 2pm. We will start our trip by having our lunch in Tamar Park, where we will begin observing the different buildings around us. We will continue our trip on the bus, driving through Hong Kong Island and Kowloon, looking for prominent buildings. The bus tour will take approximately one hour.
Trip time: 11.5am – 2pm (approximately)
What to wear: School uniform and hat for the picnic.
What to bring: A snack (to have at school), a packed lunch and a water bottle.
Cost: HK$100 per child. Please make payment by Friday 26th January 2024.
We will require some parent helpers to support with our trip. A sign-up sheet will be available soon.
