Dear Parents/Carers,
Our world is full of interesting and varied materials and items that can be reused and included in our play. From the coloured top off a squeezy yoghurt to the interesting patterns on a button, we can reuse them to express our thinking and ideas about the world. These materials can be used to make a robot at the wood work table, a car in the art area or as pretend food in our role play areas.
The reuse of materials also ensures that we are reducing the amount of rubbish that is going into landfill. The children are being taught how to reuse materials in the classroom and we are also encouraging them to identify materials from their lunch boxes that can be recycled and reused.
We are asking for our families to look at the list below and identity any of these items they may have at home and could donate. Please can you bring these items in to your class teacher. Please ensure the items are clean and are safe for the children to use.
Thank you for your support!
