Creative Arts Morning – Year 2 ‘Wizard’
Dear Parents
I am delighted to inform you that on Wednesday 22.05.19, we will be running a Creative Arts Morning with Year 2 students. As you will be aware from a previous Creative Arts Morning, the aim is to allow the children to cultivate a deeper and more discreet exposure to the Creative Arts within our curriculum, and to further explore and develop their skills in the four disciplines of Art, Drama, Dance and Music.
The Y4 Creative Arts Morning will be continuing with the theme of ‘Wizard’; exploring a mix of the popular musical shows ‘The Wizard of Oz’, ‘The Wiz’ and ‘Wicked’. Students will explore one of four disciplines for the duration of the morning, They will develop their skills and perform via music, art, dance or drama.
Your child’s regular school timetable will be collapsed during the Creative Arts morning from 8:35 am – 12:10 pm. The children are invited to come to school in their PE kits for the morning and stay in them if they have PE in the afternoon.
