Dear Parents,
A reminder that we have our Wetlands Park excursions next term (Y2ES & Y2KW Wednesday 13th February and Y2HR & Y2RH Wednesday 20th February).
On the day of the trip, children need to wear their PE kit and comfortable shoes that they can walk in. They will also need to bring a snack, water bottle and packed lunch in a bag that they are comfortable carrying by themselves. If it is likely to rain, the children will also need a lightweight raincoat or if it is cold, they will need to wear something warm as we will be outside for part of the day.
Please can children come to school wearing sun cream (if appropriate) and insect repellent. They will also need to bring some in their bags to top up throughout the day, if needed.
Please can all children arrive at their classrooms at 8:15am on their trip day.
Many thanks to our Parent Helpers for volunteering your time to join us. We will be having a meeting for our parent volunteers to outline the day on Tuesday 12th February at 8:00am in the Y2ES classroom. Please let your child’s class teacher know if you are unable to make this meeting.
In the meantime, if you have any queries or questions, please do come and ask your child’s class teacher.
