Dear Year 4 families,
We are delighted to invite you to the Year 4 Celebration of Learning morning and the Onwards and Upwards ceremony on Wednesday 21st June between 9am and 10am.
Celebration of Learning – The Globe (9am – 9.30am)
In our current Discovery unit, Young Entrepreneurs, the children have been learning a variety of valuable life skills, such as baking, woodwork, embroidery and pottery. From this, they have then applied these skills, along with their knowledge of circuits, to create a product that they would love to share with you. On the day, between 9am and 9.30am in the Globe, the children will share their carefully crafted invention with you which aims to deter biscuit thieves from canteens.
Onwards and Upwards Ceremony – Your Child’s Classroom (9.30am – 10am)
To celebrate the end of Year 4, we formally invite you to your child’s Onwards and Upwards ceremony immediately after the Celebration of Learning. The ceremony will take place in your child’s classroom at 9.30am and will conclude by 10am. The purpose of the ceremony is to celebrate the completion of Year 4 and to prepare the children for their next academic year, Year 5.
