Year 11 Morning Revision Programme

Year 11 Morning Revision Programme

To ensure our Year 11 students are fully prepared for their summer examinations, we are pleased to announce the start of a structured Morning Revision Programme. These sessions are designed to provide high-impact, teacher-led support in the core subjects of Maths and Science from next week, and also English after the Chinese New Year break.

Please note that these sessions are mandatory and it is an expectation that all students attend.

Schedule & Timing

Sessions will run from 8am sharp until 8.45am.

On these specific days, students will not attend their usual tutor time. Instead, they must head directly to their designated revision rooms, where the morning register will be taken.

Subject Starting Date Every… Details
Maths Wed 14th Jan Wednesday Focused curriculum mastery
Science Thu 15th Jan Thursday Biology/Chemistry/Physics rotation

Important Logistics

  • Rooming: Students will be in their Maths/Science/English Classes

    • Maths:
      • 11Ma1 – DC2-1
      • 11Ma2 – DC2-2
      • 11Ma3 – SG-3
    • Science:
      • Li – DC2-1
      • Na – DC2-2
      • K – SG-3
  • Punctuality: Since sessions begin at 8am sharp, it is essential that students arrive on time to avoid disrupting the learning and ensure they are marked as present on the register.

  • Extracurricular Activities (ECAs): If students normally attend a morning ECA, they are still welcome to do so. However, they must leave the activity by 8am to attend their revision session immediately.

Preparation

To get the most out of these 45-minute sessions, students should arrive prepared with:

  • Their full school stationery kit;

  • Scientific calculators (for Maths and Science);

  • Any relevant resources that classroom teachers have requested that they bring.

We appreciate your continued support in ensuring your child attends these sessions. They are a vital part of our strategy to build the confidence and knowledge necessary for success this summer.

Best wishes,

Secondary Team
