Maths Competition Opportunity

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Every year, DBIS offers students the opportunity to partake in the AMC (Australian Maths Competition).

The AMC is a Maths competition where students are challenged to complete a timed, age-appropriate Maths paper to see how they fare against others around Asia. The countries that usually partake in this event are China, Taiwan, Malaysia and Singapore, to name a few.

Due to parent feedback from last year’s online event, we have decided to run this event within DBIS, inviting students to register and sit the paper on a specific day in The Globe. The completed paper will then be sent to the AMC, who will mark it and share results and award certificates.

If your child is interested in partaking in this competition, please read the information below carefully and register before Friday, 20th September.
