Dear DBIS Families,
We are delighted to support the Box of Hope charity once again. The Box of Hope is an annual charity project aimed at providing useful and educational gifts to underprivileged children in Hong Kong and Asia, donated by Hong Kong school children and local organisations.Â
Please find HERE a poster explaining how you and your family can get involved and ideas for packing your box. Further information can be found on The Box of Hope website or you can view their presentation HERE.
Please find below guidance videos in English, Cantonese and Mandarin:

Our Student Council members will set up a collection point in the Primary covered area by the main gates before school between Monday 28th October and Friday 1st November, when they will be delighted to receive your donations.Â
At the EYFS Campus, the dates will remain as above and the boxes will be collected outside the Main Office. We have stickers for the boxes that we will share with the children on Monday 14th October, and there will be spare copies ready for you to collect at the Main Reception. Alternatively, you can download one to print here.
Additionally, this year RokSaan are offering a free card that can be added to your Box of Hope. To select your free card from their special Box of Hope range, please click here. Your child can add their name or message to the front, write a thoughtful message inside for the little boy or girl who will be gifted the box, or leave it blank inside to handwrite before popping it in their box.
Use code BOH2024 at checkout to ensure your card is free of charge. Send it back to yourself so that your child can write their message (if left blank inside) before popping it in their box. They then deliver to you within a few working days
Please do not hesitate to contact us should you have any questions, and we thank you in advance for your support. Last year we collected 512 boxes, which is incredible, and we would love to help bring a smile to even more children’s lives this Christmas time.
Thank you and best wishes,
DBIS EYFS & Primary Student Council
