Welcome to Year 1 2025-26

Dear Parents and Guardians,

A very warm welcome to all of our students and families in Year 1

We are absolutely thrilled to welcome your child and your family to what promises to be an exciting and enriching year of learning and growth. We are looking forward to guiding your child through new discoveries, building on their foundations, and fostering their natural curiosity within our Year 1 Curriculum.

We will begin our learning journey with our first Discovery unit, ‘Our Class is a Family’, developing a sense of belonging within our school community. Later on in the term, we will be immersing ourselves in our next Discovery unit, ‘Catch Them While We Can… Endangered to Extinct’, where we will be stepping back in time to learn all about some very important ancient giants. We will be bringing our learning to life with a special trip to the Hong Kong Space Museum.
