Dear Parents & Guardians,
I am delighted to inform you that Early Years International Sports Week will run from Tuesday 18th to Friday 21st November.
The PE team has designed an action-packed week of sporting activities, where every student will have the opportunity to enjoy being physically active and have an opportunity to explore different sports equipment from around the globe. During PE lessons and lunchtime break, there will be a variety of international sports activities that the children can experience.
Â
We will also enjoy a shared lunch to celebrate; the information on this as follows:
Event: Shared lunch & sports dress-up
Date: Wednesday 19th November
What to bring: Food that represents your child’s home country to share with the class. All food must be NUT FREE. Please consider portion size to avoid large amounts of waste. Please can each child bring their own plate and cutlery.Â
What to wear: Sports kit. This can be a team kit or a national replica kit from their home country, or the students can simply wear their national flag colours. Â
As part of the week’s programme, we also plan to raise awareness of eating a healthy, balanced diet alongside staying active.Â
Please contact me with any questions about our Early Years International Sports Week.
Â
Best regards,Â
