Year 3 Toy Sale

Dear Year 3 Families,

As part of our ‘Significant People’ unit, Year 3 have been learning about how the values and beliefs of others influence the actions they take to make positive changes in society. As a reflection of this, Year 3 will experience what it is like to take action and make a difference in their society and community by collecting toys and managing and running a second-hand toy sale at DBIS to raise money for our school charities.

The sale will take place on Thursday, 11 December, from 3:00 pm to 3:30 pm and will be set up and run by the students, with the support of the Year 3 team. The sale will take place in front of the school, just before the undercover area.

In the run-up to this event, we will be asking parents to donate any old toys, books, or games in good condition. Please bring any donations to the Year 3 classroom from December 1st until Friday, December 5th.

As this event falls partially outside of the school day, it is optional. Students who wish to volunteer to run the toy sale must obtain permission from their families to participate until 3:30 pm. Should your child wish to volunteer, please do so via this JotForm: https://form.jotform.com/253227050833047

Please collect your child at 3:30 pm. If they have a green tag, they will be dismissed without an adult.

Many thanks,

The Year 3 Team
