Dear Year 7 Thunder Parents,
I am writing to inform you that Louise Tyrrell will be taking up her role as ‘Acting Head of Year 9’ from Monday 23rd November. Louise will be in this post until 21st June 2021, when Samantha Hine, current Head of Year 9, returns from maternity leave. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Louise for all of her hard work with the students in 7 Thunder, notably the support she has provided to them during the difficult transition period at the beginning of this academic year.
Fortunately, we have a fantastic colleague, Karen Hartcher, lined up to replace Louise. Karen has a wealth of relevant experience on both the teaching and pastoral side within Hong Kong and will be in touch w/c 23rd November to formally introduce herself.
