Bedtime Stories

Dear DBIS Families,

On Friday 20th October, DBIS will be hosting the rescheduled Bedtime Stories event! This event has been rescheduled to take place during school hours and is set to be a book extravaganza, celebrating storytelling, reading and imagination.

There will be a host of activities taking place throughout the day, including a book-themed scavenger hunt, book nooks with cookies and hot chocolate, “bedtime stories” in the Globe (for Primary students) and Reading Ambassador visits (for our Foundation Stage students).

Parents will be invited to sign up to support experiential reading experiences, which are set to take place all over the school and parts of the local community. Please keep an eye out for sign-up sheets or requests from your child’s class teacher. Each class will be embarking on a different and unique reading experience.

As part of the Bedtime Stories event, we will invite students to come to school in their pyjamas. For children who wish to take part, we would like to ask for a HK$10 donation to Bring Me A Book Hong Kong.

We thoroughly look forward to this event and thank you in advance for your support.

Please do not hesitate to contact your child’s class teacher should you have any questions.

Best wishes,

Georgina Clothier and Bryony Wilson
