Celebrating Birthdays

Dear Parents

Celebrating a birthday is an extremely special time for our children in the Early Years and we thoroughly enjoy sharing this excitement with the children.

Should you wish to bring a treat for the children in your child’s class to enjoy on your child’s special day, you are welcome to bring a cupcake or small individually wrapped packets of sweets or chocolate such as M&Ms or Smarties. We are starting to notice that birthday treats are becoming quite elaborate and kindly ask that treats such as party bags, toys and balloons are kept for any private celebrations you may choose to host outside of school.

Please remember, we are a nut aware school and therefore any cakes should be free from nuts.

A gentle reminder as well that we are happy to support the distribution of party invitations if there is an invitation for all the children in the class, however we are not able to provide email addresses or telephone numbers for parents, nor will we be able to send invitations via email on your behalf. Please speak to your Class Parent who is likely to be able to support with arranging social events outside of school time.

Should you have any questions regarding celebrating your child’s birthday at school, please contact your child’s class teacher.

Best wishes
