Charity Book Sale and Swap!

Dear DBIS Families,

DBIS will be celebrating Book Week on on our return to school from Monday 17th to Friday 21st April.

As part of Book Week, we will be holding a Book Sale and Swap on Wednesday 19th April during break and lunch times. This is a great opportunity for the children to bring home a pre-loved book to read and enjoy.

Book Sale

If your child would like to buy a second-hand book, they will all be HK$10 each. 

Book Swap

If your child would like to take part in the book swap, they need to bring in a gently-used book, in good condition, and take it to the library on Monday 17th or Tuesday 18th April. 

They will then receive a book coupon that they can use during the sale on Wednesday 19th, where they can choose a different book to take home and enjoy. 

All proceeds from the sale will go to ‘Bring me a Book Hong Kong’. 

We are always excited about getting children more involved in reading for enjoyment and pleasure and are excited to be able to offer this opportunity for the children to share books they have previously enjoyed with their friends and peers.
