DBIS Primary Online Sports ECA Virtual Classroom

Dear Students, 

The DBIS PE & Sport Team is excited to launch our ‘Online Sports ECA Virtual Classroom’ on Monday, 5 October. With social distancing measures remaining in place and EDB restrictions on certain activities, we are unsure at this stage when our regular ECA programme will be able to begin. Therefore, we would like to provide a platform for students to still take part remotely in Extra-Curricular Sporting activities.

We encourage you to explore the Virtual Classroom, try different activities using the video tutorials and guidance. Most importantly we want you to have fun and encourage you all to stay active and healthy. The Google Classroom code is 6coli5m. It is intended for DBIS students of Year 3 to Year 6 only.

You don’t need to sign up for an online ECA. You can dip in and out of any activities and sessions that you would like to participate in. You are free to manage your schedule and complete activities when it fits into your week, you do not need to register or provide any evidence. However, we would welcome any feedback from you, please tell us which activities you do enjoy and any suggestions for how we can improve this provision. It is not an expectation but if you would like to send us some photos or videos of you completing the activities by yourself or with a friend, we would love to see. 

Please ensure that you are taking part in a safe environment. If you have any doubt if the activity or workspace is safe please check with a responsible adult.
