DBIS Triathlon Challenge 2021 – Hawaii Challenge

Dear Parents and Students

Last week DBIS students participated in the DBIS Noosa Triathlon Challenge. It was great to see so many students, parents and staff participating. As a school, we swam an amazing 80.88 km, cycled 404.2 km, and ran 393.47 km.  We swam, rode and ran a total of 878.55 km.

Congratulations to Year 5 for travelling the furthest distance of 286.45 km (swim 37.25 km, cycle 114.7 km, run 134.5 km). Year 5IM for being the class to accumulate the most kilometres of 192.5 km (swim 26.5 km, cycle 88.5 km, run 77.5 km). Lastly congratulations to the winning house Lions travelling 173.95 km.

The next Triathlon Challenge is the Hawaii Challenge where classes will work together to see how many times they complete the Hawaii Ironman (swim 3.8 km, cycle 180.2 km, run 42 km). DBIS would love to see parents and siblings getting involved.
