Examination Venue Change Summer 2020-21 – Year 11

Dear Year 11 Parents and Students,

With the welcome news that we will be able to return to a more typical learning schedule from Monday 24th May, we would like to inform you of some examination venue changes for the remainder of the Summer examination series.

With the Globe and the Gym at the main campus being utilised once more as lunchtime eating spaces, as per Hong Kong Education Bureau requirements, we have relocated the remaining Cambridge IGCSE Examinations.

HERE you can access the revised Cambridge IGCSE Summer Examination Schedule. Please note that the only amendments to the schedule are the venue and location of the respective examination(s); the examination days and times remain consistent.

You will note that we have taken the decision to utilise suitable rooms at the North Plaza campus. We have intentionally determined a series of rooms (NP-N10, NP-N11 and NP-N12) that we believe will provide the students with an equally high quality examination experience, catering successfully to the number of candidates and the demands of the examinations.  These rooms will be dedicated exclusively to examinations during this period to afford students consistent, inclusive and accommodating conditions to undertake their exams.

Students will be required to sign in with Geri at the sixth form reception desk, which is located on the ground floor, opposite the entrance to the Auberge hotel. Geri will then direct students to the examination rooms. All rooms are located in the same section of the North Plaza campus, on the upper floor.

Existing examination timeframes mandate that students are required to arrive 30 minutes prior to the commencement of their examination (please refer to revised schedule attached). We would however urge the students to arrive a little earlier for their first examination (especially if they are not overly confident about the rooming location) to avoid any additional stress.

Please encourage your son/daughter to reach out to us if they require any further guidance in establishing the location of the sixth form reception.

We wish all students the very best of luck with their final examinations.

Kind regards,

Peter Roberts
