Dear Parents and Carers,Â
We’d like to invite the EY1 children to the Performance of ‘The Snail and the Whale’. The performance is on Friday 7th February at 12pm at the Hong Academy for Performing Arts. The children are to arrive at school at normal time and buses will depart school at 10am. The viewing of this performance is a great opportunity for the students to see a narrative on stage.Â
The cost of the trip will be $320, please submit payments to your class teacher by Thursday 23rd January.Â
On the day the children will need to wear their full school uniform and bring a packed lunch and water bottle. We will have lunch at the theatre before the performance. Children will return to school for normal pick up at 3.10pm.Â
Each class will need 3 parent helpers on the day. A parent signup sheet will be made available on your class’ whiteboard closer to the time. If however, you know in advance you are available please let you classroom teacher know. If we have more than 3 parent volunteers, names will be pulled out of a hat.
