Dear Parents,
As you are aware, the children were introduced to woodwork in EY1 last year.Â
This year, woodwork will also be taught in EY2, with the children having the opportunity to further build on their skills. They will be taught new woodwork skills and also revisit those developed last year, including hammering, sanding and sawing. The woodwork sessions will be taught in small adult supervised groups and will begin later this term.
We are really looking forward to getting creative in EY2 this year. If you have any queries, please contact your child’s class teacher.
