Dear FS-1 and FS-2 Families
On Wednesday 5th February, FS-1 and FS-2 will be watching the stage performance of The Way Back Home. This will be held at the Hong Kong Performing Arts Centre in Wan Chai.
Students are to arrive at school at the usual time of 8.55am, and buses will depart at approx. 10.30am.
The cost of the trip will be HK$420 per child, which includes the show ticket and the transportation for your child.
Payments must be made by 29th January 2025 for your child to attend. Please submit cash or cheque payments (payable to Discovery Bay International School) to the office. If you wish to pay via bank transfer, please use the following details:

On the day, children will need to wear full school uniform and bring a packed lunch and water bottle. We will have a snack at school (provided by the school) before we leave, and then they will have their lunch when we return. Please note that all lunches must be at school at drop-off time. There will be no later lunch drop-offs available.
We will require some parent helpers to support us with this exciting trip. A parent sign-up sheet will be made available by your class teacher closer to the time. If a large number of parents volunteer, then names will be chosen from a hat.
Please note that this trip was planned and tickets were purchased in Term 1.1, prior to the confirmation of the new Farm class. As a result, Farm children will not be able to participate in this trip. However, we will be arranging other special trips in the future that Farm children will be able to join.
