FS -1 Chattertubes ‘Refresh’

Dear FS-1 Families, 

As we arrive at the end of our first term in FS-1, the team would all like to say a heartfelt thank you for all of the support that you have given to your children (and us!) since August. 

The children have settled beautifully into their school lives and are ready for more learning and playing after the winter break.

Below are a number of requests before we finish school on Friday:

• Please take home your child’s hat to wash and then bring it back in on the first day of school.
• Class teachers will post sign-up sheets for family members to come in and read a story at the end of the day or to share passion projects such as cultural holidays, occupations or hobbies. For families unable to sign up in person but who wish to do so, please contact your child’s class teacher to express your interest. 
• Outside each class there will also be ‘music requests’ sheets. Please write any songs that your family enjoy listening to, so that we can add these to our class ‘playlists’.
• We will be sending home the children’s chattertubes this week. Please take the time to ‘refresh’ these photographs if needed with new family pictures, perhaps from a recent special day trip, staycation or holiday that you have had together.

Please take the time over the break to relax together as a family and enjoy these special times.
