Dear FS-1 Families,
As a part of our ‘Sharing the Planet’ Discovery unit, the children will be exploring where they live in the world. To support our learning about our community, the FS-1 children will be going on a bus journey with their class friends around Discovery Bay on different days in the week beginning 19th May. During the journey, the children will have the opportunity to show their friends where they live and discuss special places around Discovery Bay. The bus journey will be during the morning time, with the bus leaving DBIS Foundation Stage campus at around 9.30am.
Please see the dates below for which day your child’s class will have their bus trip:
Tuesday 20th May – FarmÂ
Wednesday 21st May – Rainforest Â
Thursday 22nd May – StarlightÂ
Friday 23rd May –Â Seaside
To make the event even more exciting, we would like it if someone from the family could be out and about near your home. In previous years, family members have made a sign with their child’s name on it and then you can give us all a big cheer and a wave.
