Dear Families,
As part of our sharing the planet topic, our FS-1 classes will each take part in a community bus trip.
These trips will occur throughout the week beginning 22nd April (with each class going on a different day).
Monday 22nd April – Starlight class
Tuesday 23rd April – Rainforest class
Wednesday 24th April – Seaside class
Thursday 25th April – Farm class
The children, alongside their teachers, will take a bus trip around Discovery Bay, visiting different places of importance, including passing by each child’s home. We ask that if possible, a family member be outside their home at a designated time to wave as the bus goes by in the morning. Your class teacher will share more accurate details of these times closer to the trip.
In previous years, family members have created signs with the children’s names to greet the buses as they go by, if that is something your family would like to do.
This trip will take place within normal school hours, and we ask that children wear their PE kit on the day of their trip.
