FS-2 Family Photo Request

Dear FS-2 Families,

In this half term, we will begin our new Discovery unit, ‘Superheroes: Do they all wear capes?’

In this unit, the children will develop their understanding of how people in communities have different roles and responsibilities. They will also learn how people in communities collaborate to help one another. 

As part of their learning, the children will examine how our families are superheroes. To facilitate discussion around this, please send a family photo that we can display in our class. You can send a hard copy, or a digital copy to your class teacher via email. 

We would also welcome any parent volunteers to come into their child’s class to discuss their professions and how they help our community. If you would like to do this, please speak to your child’s teacher.
