We have an important update to share with you regarding our network security.
To strengthen our defenses against potential threats, we’re making changes to our firewall infrastructure. Specifically, we’ll be blocking the use of older encryption protocols, TLS v1.0 and TLS v1.1, within the firewall settings. These outdated protocols have known vulnerabilities that could jeopardize the security of our network.
Here’s how we’ll be rolling out this update:
- Starting April 15th, we’ll implement the changes on the EY site and closely monitor the impact for one week.
- On April 22nd, we’ll extend the update to the sixth-form site and continue monitoring for another week.
- Finally, on April 29th, we’ll implement the changes on the main site and again observe the effects for one week.
