[Medical] Influenza Consent Forms Due In By Monday 15th September 15th

Dear Parents,

This is just a reminder that the deadline for handing in the Influenza Vaccination consent form is 15th September, 2025 as the forms will be collected by Dedicare to prepare for the vaccination on October 6th.  

We have also have had questions regarding the brand of vaccine that will be used and we have chosen to go with Sanofi from France for all students.  

Sanofi is a Inactivated Influenza Vaccine ( IIV) given  intramuscularly in the upper arm.  It is a Trivalent vaccine which means it includes two strains of Influenza A and 1 strain of Influenza B.  

If your child is under the age of nine years old and has never received the Influenza Vaccine before 6th October, they will need a second dose. The date for this will be 24th November.  We will send out a reminder post before then as well.
