Online Learning Information for Early Years Families

Dear Early Years Families

We hope this finds you well and would like to thank each and every one of you for your continued support during these unprecedented times.
We also thank you for your recent feedback in ensuring we are providing high-quality learning opportunities and would like to make you aware of some modifications to our online learning provision.
All our online learning opportunities will continue to be placed on Seesaw. From Monday – Thursday there will be a set of slides with the labelled day of completion and opportunities to choose from for each day.  Where appropriate and possible there will be videos and/or voice-overs to support the children and parents/carers.
Feedback will continue to be given in written, oral or video form.
Every Thursday at 2:30pm there will be a pre-recorded story read to the class on Seesaw.
We would also encourage our EY children and families to upload any pictures, videos or questions and to keep in contact with us whilst strengthening connections from home to school.  We would love to hear about the activities or achievements that are not related to the online learning opportunities set.
We will continue to embrace our Fresh Air Fridays or Catch Up Fridays as this has proven to be most effective for all.
Finally, please find a link to a online learning checklist which we hope will support you in supporting your child’s wellbeing throughout this period of school closure.
Thank you once again for all your ongoing support during this period of school closure.
Kind regards
Eleanor Loran
