Primary House Karaoke Competition

Dear Families,

Due to popular demand, Primary will be hosting a house karaoke competition on the week beginning Monday 10th November.

Children from Year 1 to 6 will have the opportunity to sing part of a song in front of Mr Gallagher, Ms Lau and a group of student leaders. Each entry will earn two house points, with a winner being selected from the following categories: Years 1–2, Years 3–4, and Years 5–6. 

The winners will then have the chance to welcome Primary with their winning songs at the start of assembly. 

What do families need to do?

If your child is interested, please complete this Google Form with:

• Child’s name
• Class
• Song title
• YouTube link for the song.

The children will be limited to no more than a minute of their song, but if they win, they will sing the full song in assembly. We are looking for accurate pitching and good tone, as well as stage presence, familiarity with the song and unique song choices.

Children may enter as a duet, but they need to be from the same house.

Schedule:

Monday 10th November – Years 1 and 2

Tuesday 11th November – Years 3 and 4

Wednesday 12th November – Years 5 and 6

All auditions will take place in Miss Lau’s classroom from 12.25pm.
