We are excited to announce that the Discovery Dome will be paying a visit to DBIS on Wednesday 14th June.

The Discovery Dome is an inflatable mobile planetarium that brings learning about space, the solar system and other areas of science to life for children. The sessions are engaging and immersive, with a focus on exploration.

The Dome will be set up in the Early Years hall throughout the day, and all children in Reception will have a scheduled 45-minute allocated time to meet with astronaut Lorne. The children will go on a magical tour through the stars and galaxies and learn about seasons, night and day, why the moon changes shape and stars in the sky.
