Thank you all for a great week in Reception!Â
It has been wonderful to see the fantastic and in depth engagement of our children throughout Reception and we thank you for your support.
Please find your child’s weekly overview for the following week on your class Seesaw through the announcements. All the links for the Google Meets will continue to be posted on your child’s virtual classroom which will be posted each day. We really appreciate your enthusiasm and the way you have all adapted. We would also like to thank you for the wonderful feedback that has been received.
RWI (our phonics programme) will commence on Monday 24th August in our small group Google Meet sessions. Your teacher will also be posting speed sound videos to support the live sessions, so your child can revisit the sounds in their own time.
It was wonderful to see some of you during the Home Learning Activity Pack collection. The next pack collection will be Thursday 27th and Friday 28th between 11-1pm. Please contact your teacher if you are unable to make this slot. Please feel free to bring containers to collect paint during this time. May we ask that the children can bring their whiteboards or something to write with to Google Meets going forward.
We look forward to another action-packed week ahead. We are very proud of all of the children and really appreciate that this is a very unusual and different situation for them. We understand that being online requires a lot of energy from them all. With this in mind we want to express that it is important to respond to our children’s needs and if they need a rest day please do not hesitate to contact your class teacher. We are here to support you.
