DBIS Santa Dash
We are delighted to inform you about the Santa Dash event that will be taking place on Tuesday 12th December for DBIS Primary students and parents. All students will get to come into school dressed as Santa or in red/Christmas costume. Each year group will then take part in a cross country (Santa Dash) around the DBIS South Beach. This is a friendly event, where students will get the choice to run, jog or walk. Students will gain 5 points for their house for every lap they complete, and there will be ribbons for the first, second and third runner to complete the whole course.
We would like to welcome parents to join us for this event; you are welcome to join in and run with your child or support from the sidelines. Class teachers will need a small number of parent volunteers to support with walking the children to and from the beach; please let your child’s teacher know if you are available to help. All other parents can meet us directly at the beach for the event, to avoid congestion at school. No sign-up is required.
